Varsity 365 Star of the Show (3/5/08): Furnell Doster of South Philadelphia High Coming
into a big playoff game on a shooting slump can be a big burden to some
athletes. That's when the coaches come to play. "Coach (Greg
Anderson) said let the game come to me," junior forward Furnell Doster
said after Southern's 73-54 victory over Souderton in the AAAA 2nd
round State playoff game. He let the game come to him indeed - 23
points and an all around presence that seemed unstoppable at times.
But Doster gives all the credit to his coaches for believing in
him, "Coach said I'm a pure shooter; just keep shooting," he said.
"It feels good [when you] have good coaches trying to help
