These were the Stars of the Show from the Tripleheader at Villanova on Saturday, March 8th:
 Karon Burton, Chester
A gutsy performance
from Burton, scoring 25 points despite injuring his left knee at the
2:15 mark in the first quarter. He missed most of the second
quarter, but came back in and was the spark plug that enabled Chester
to pull off the 68-60 victory over Penn Wood. |
 Russell Graham, Norristown
Norristown was very
impressive in their 71-44 victory over Southern, and Russell Graham was
a key reason why. With 19 points and a great interior effort,
Graham helped the Eagles send a message to those who may have counted
them out after their first loss of the season in the District 1
playoffs. |
 Dalton Pepper, Pennsbury
He's tall, and has a
solid build. So when Pennsbury needed to attack, they called on
Pepper to do so. Leading the team with 15 points and also
connecting free throws towards the end that decided the game, Pepper
will now try to help Pennsbury continue their great year (30-2) in the
State semifinals. |
