First ever shut-out in a game covered by Varsity 365

Yes, you read right. For the first time ever, we awarded the Star of the Show honors strictly for defensive efforts. And to add more history to that, we awarded it to the entire Ridley defense! There was no question about this call, as they shut out Conestoga and allowed their offense to do absolutely nothing.

"Our defense carried us," Ridley coach John Waller said after the game. "Our coordinator Ralph Batty just did such a fantastic job game planning, and the kids carried it to a tee."

For such a phenomenal effort, and the first ever shut out in a game covered by Varsity 365, the Ridley defensive unit earns Varsity 365 Stars of the Show honors.
