Run that ball.  Throw if you have to and when you throw, make things happen.  This may have been the mindset for Gonzales in this clash of the titans between his Liberty Hurricanes and the North Penn Knights.  The Hurricanes were very successful at running the ball and keeping the Knights’ offense off of the field.  And Gonzales did some of the running himself, including a 1 yard touchdown to get the scoring started.  When he had to throw, he made the throws count, including a nifty touchdown pass to Devin Street off of a rollout.  All of this equaled a Liberty victory that gives them another chance to capture a state title this week at Hershey.  For his efforts in Liberty’s successful attempt to punch their ticket to the big dance, Anthony Gonzales earned Varsity 365 Star of the Show honors.
