Logan Cawley, New Hope-Solebury Wrestling
On a day and night of impressive performances, we liked Cawley's performance in his championship match the best. What made the moment even more special was the emotion shown by Cawley, his teammates, and the fans as the young man pulled off the victory in the 152lb class.
"It was great to hear everyone cheering, and that adrenaline rush is just a great feeling," he said after the meet.
And as with every sport, reaching this level of success didn't come easy.
"This last week of wrestling practice, we were just working really hard," he said when asked what prepared him for this championship tournament. "When I was out there, I lost myself in a way. I just completely became a wrestler - just wrestling to win."
For his efforts at the tournament, Cawley earns Varsity 365 Star of the Show honors.
