On the weekend of September 26th, 2009, high school girls basketball players from all over the region gathered to showcase their talent in a one of a kind event. Coordinated by Stephen Prescott, assistant coach with the Cardinal Dougherty girls basketball team, the Back to School Jam Showcase gave these girls the chance to play in front of college scouts and coaches, getting the opportunity for exposure that is normally very tough to come by. We salute Steve in his efforts of getting this event together, and we salute the wonderfully talented girls who participated.
