NEW FEATURES:

Welcome, as we start Phase 2 of Varsity 365 (there will be quite few phases over the next few months so get ready!).

The biggest change to Varsity 365 is that we have now opened the door to advertising.   After months of planning, we are ready to go.  If you are interested in advertising or being a sponsor, contact mwright@varsity365.com.

Marketing and advertising information can be found here.

We have added some features and restructured the front page to make it better and more of a resource for our visitors:

1. We now have the V365 StarWatch, which will keep our visitors updated on awards and accomplishments of high school athletes and teams in the Greater Philadelphia Area (we will try to link articles and such from outside sources that cover the accomplishments so you can have more information on it).  We will primarily focus on teams and athletes related to the teams we have covered or are covering.  Athletes and coaches are encouraged to submit entries to be displayed in the StarWatch (we are looking for records set, awards won, streaks, and other noticeable accomplishments).  We cannot promise that every submission will be posted.  (submit to mwright@varsity365.com)

2. The OurVarsity Wire is now called the V365 Wire.  It will still be the quickest way to find out changes to the website along with brief news coming from the high school sports world on the teams we've recently covered.

3. The Video Player will keep up the last video coverage, but also links to the 5 most recent games will be under it as well.

4. The Showcase of the Week is now displayed prominently in the middle of the screen when you scroll down a little bit.  We will be adding features to the Showcase of the Week as we go along.  One thing we've decided to add are important links concerning the game or meet at hand, such as directions to the game site and team websites.

5. We've added a list of important Hot Links to the sidebar, so that you can go straight to some of the most requested features (like the latest articles) without having to go through the menu bar at the top of the page.

6. Sound Off 365 are short opinion articles on games we've covered or news in the high school sports world. Writers are encouraged to send submissions for possible publishing.  Submissions can be no longer than 250 words.    Send submissions to mwright@varsity365.com.

There will be quite a few more new features over the next few weeks, so as I said before, get ready!
