Internships for 2008-9 School Year

Promotions:

We are looking for high school students and college students who are interested in high school sports and promoting Varsity 365.

Hands-On:
We have various internship opportunities for hands-on work with the actual production of Varsity 365 content. This includes, but is not limited to, writing articles, taking photographs, and conducting interviews. This provides an excellent opportunity for college and high school students to gain valuable experience in the field of sports journalism.

*Must have an interest in Sports Journalism as a career
*Must have a good knowledge of any sport he or she would like to cover
*Must have the ability and willingness to travel through the Philadelphia area to cover
*It is a plus to have own equipment such as digital camera for pictures

Promotions:
- Our promotions team will participate in various events that market Varsity 365 to the public (such as pep rallys). In addition, the promotions team will be involved during the actual games that we cover, interacting with the fans, spreading the word about Varsity 365, and helping to create a fun atmosphere.

*Must have the ability and willingness to travel through the Philadelphia area to cover
*Prior experience in promotions is not necessary

Music:

Varsity 365 wants your music, and wants to help promote your music! We are looking at underground bands, producers and groups for our Song Exchange program. We are looking to use the music or songs in our highlight video packages in exchange for advertising, which would include credits in the video, and a link to your webpage from our home page.
