September Star of the Month

Craig Needhammer, North Penn

We felt that Craig Needhammer deserved Star of the Month honors for September because, well, he just flat out made Liberty pay on opening night. He put his power and speed on display in the contest, and also set a school record with a 99 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Not bad for the 5-7, 170lb junior. For his efforts in that game, Craig Needhammer of North Penn becomes our first Star of the Month for the 2009-2010 year.
